If you would like to set up a Zoom session, please do not hesitate to contact me. You can also send me your practice law essays to mark. I charge £60 per 2000 words and will provide detailed written feedback. I can help with formative assignments and practice questions, but not summative assignments.
I provide tuition for LLB Law and the GDL.
Free consultation meetings
I offer free 15 minute consultation meetings where we can get to know each other a bit better and you can decide if 1:1 law tutoring is right for you. We can also discuss your personal areas of improvement and which skills you would like help developing. This is usually essay structuring and exam technique, however I do offer content-based sessions where we can work through an area of law and map out the steps to follow when answering a problem question.
About me
I recently graduated from Durham University with First Class Honours in Law.
Having worked with more than 250 students and completed over 3500 hours of 1:1 tuition, I have lots of experience and can effectively adapt each session to the individual student.
I want to show you that law isn't as hard as it seems - or as hard as your lecturers like to make it seem! There are simple tactics that you can easily use in order to do very well in your degree.
A typical session
Most tutees come to our sessions with a problem question or essay question from a past paper. We will then work through the question together and come up with an essay plan.
However, the structure of our sessions is entirely up to you. If you'd prefer to go through your previous assessments and analyse how you can improve, we can do that. Alternatively, we can spend time working through the material of your modules. For example, we could spend a session going through the principles of negligence in Tort Law. I can usually accommodate most people's requests, so feel free to get in touch if you have anything in particular that you would like to cover in a session!
